The 1st COFFEE BREWING TOURNAMENT PERU (CBTP) was held!

We were delighted to hold the memorable first COFFEE BREWING TOURNAMENT PERU (CBTP) in Peru.

Members from Japan, mainly past CBTJ award winners, participated as judges, while 64 competitors faced off in a tournament format over two days of intense competition.

Although this was the first CBTP held in Peru, many competitors took part and a large audience also came to the venue.

As the competition progressed, the energy in the venue continued to rise. The serious expressions on each competitor’s face and the cheers at the moment each result was decided made it an exciting event that brought many people together through coffee.

We are very pleased that the COFFEE BREWING TOURNAMENT has crossed borders and taken a new step forward in Peru.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the competitors, everyone who attended, and all those who supported the event.

Through the COFFEE BREWING TOURNAMENT, we will continue to share the enjoyment of coffee and create new connections between people around the world.

Robusta Calibration

We held the CQI-certified former Q Robusta Grader Calibration.

The former Q Robusta Grader is an international qualification for evaluating Robusta coffee according to globally shared standards, and the number of certified professionals in Japan remains limited.

This session brought together 10 former Q Robusta Graders and used eight Robusta coffees for calibration, aligning evaluation criteria among participants.

Participants compared and reviewed cupping results and scores with one another, sharing sensory impressions and aligning evaluation standards. It was a meaningful training session aimed at maintaining and improving evaluation accuracy in line with global standards.

Gems of Saudi 2026 – International Jury Cupping Centers

In light of recent international circumstances, the international judging for Cup of Excellence Saudi Arabia (Gems of Saudi 2026) has changed from the traditional single-location format to a format conducted at official cupping centers around the world.

SNOW BEANS COFFEE has been selected as an official cupping center in Japan and will participate in the international judging for this event.

At Gems of Saudi 2026 – International Jury Cupping Centers, experienced judges from around the world conduct rigorous cupping evaluations at their respective locations under the same standards, bringing the value of outstanding Saudi Arabian coffees to the international market.

SNOW BEANS COFFEE is deeply honored to participate in this historic initiative together with coffee professionals in Japan.

This is a valuable opportunity to experience the appeal of Saudi Arabia, an emerging coffee origin attracting global attention, through international judging.
